Your Inspection Has A Dual Purpose
With our inspection report in your hands, you'll be certain of what works and what doesn't. But your inspection is not only to discover defects and problems, but to help us get to know your home.

This involves finding out:

  • Is it correctly installed?
  • Is it functional?
  • Is it safe?

We will show you important, yet often overlooked, details such as how to care for the furnace and air conditioning, where to find main power and water shut off locations, attic openings, etc.

Repairs & Alerts
This inspection report will let you know where there are problems and give you a clear description. We also point out what has been maintained properly by the pervious owner and offer helpful tips about how to continue your home's care for the future. We welcome you to ask questions during the inspection so you can learn about the structures and systems first-hand.

Avoid Surprises
Only you know how ready you are to buy or sell a home - But the home will tell us how ready it is. For most people, this is the biggest investment of their lives. A thorough and professional inspection today will tell you the present condition and estimated life expectancy of your furnace, appliances, hot water heater and other important working components of your home.

After The Inspection, You Will Receive An Immediate On-Site Report
Many inspectors only offer handwritten reports or a very basic computer output. I feel it is important that your personalized computer report offers the utmost professionalism. You will receive a customized binder that contains data rich output of information including descriptions of defects in areas of the home that may be unsafe or need repair. This will be accompanied by a full explanation of the problem. This is an easy to understand professional report that is given to you at the end of your inspection.

Another Extra
Although it is not a requirement, I run a carbon monoxide test around your gas furnace and hot water heater because I feel strongly about you and your family's safety. Carbon monoxide is a very dangerous gas and this is simply an extra precaution. There is no charge for this service, but our findings will be automatically included in your report, as well.

My Inspections Are Performed To Exceed ASHI Standards Of Practice And Code Of Ethics.
The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) is a not-for-profit professional society established in 1976. ASHI's objectives include promotion of excellence within the profession and continual improvement of its members' inspection services to the public. ASHI's Standards of Practice, covering all of a home's major systems, are specifically noted in state and federal legislation and recognized by consumers as the definitive standard for professional home inspection.
